Vinyasa yoga work on your mind and body to give you a full body experience. It is one form of yoga that also helps you tone up and lose weight. This form of yoga works on strength training and helps you build lean muscle mass throughout the body.

Yoga of this kind helps you build resistance in the body as you stress and work out the muscles

Yoga of this kind helps you build resistance in the body as you stress and work out the muscles while you practice the backbends, arm balances, inversions, and standing poses. Vinyasa Yoga is extremely beneficial as a lean muscle mass builder as it gives equal attention to all the muscle groups. This creates a balanced strength throughout. In the Vinyasa flow, continuous movements help you stretch each muscle and strengthen it simultaneously. This increases your range of motion as well as mobility. Also, since your breath is in sync with the movement, fresh oxygen fuels and loosens up all the muscles. When the muscles are flexed, the stress is released and reduced from the ligaments, joints, and tendons. This prevents injuries, tears, and muscle pulls. Vinyasa yoga work at the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, thus helping to connect the mind to the body. This helps relieve anxiety and stress. The breathing calms your mind and also reduces the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart diseases, and high blood pressure. Your organs are healed, and they begin to work to their full potential. Metabolism is regulated. You sleep better and lose weight. Vinyasa Yoga is a great form of a workout. It truly helps your body maximise its potential

Introduction to Restorative Yoga.

Restorative yoga is a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching.
If you take a restorative class, you may hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour. It is a completely different experience than most contemporary yoga.

What can Restorative Yoga do for you

The majority of Restorative yoga classes are an active practice in which you move from pose to pose, building heat and increasing your strength and flexibility in equal measure.

During long holds of restorative yoga, your muscles are allowed to relax deeply.
It’s a unique feeling because position, rather than your muscles, are used to support your body. Restorative classes are very mellow, making them a good complement to more active practices (as well as our busy life) and an excellent antidote to stress. Stillness is a powerful practice.
Clinical research into restorative yoga has found that is can decrease depression in cancer survivors: improve symptoms of anxiety, depression, and pain symptoms in cancer patients: and help patients manage the toxicity of cancer treatments.
What you can expect in the class

Prepare yourself for deep relaxation when you attend a restorative class.

Expect the teacher to arrange for the necessary props to be available for you. The lights may be dimmed soft music played.  If it is chilly, keep your socks and sweatshirt on since you will not be warming up the body the way you would be in a regular class. In some poses, the teacher may even cocoon you in blankets for extra warmth and cosiness. After you are set up in a pose with all your props, you will hold the pose for an extended period, often up to ten or even twenty minutes.
Although you are supposed, you will definitely still feel the stretching, which will probably help keep you awake. You will continue to focus on your breath throughout. The teacher may talk you through meditation or play music, depending on their style.
You may only do four or five poses over the course of an entire class. At the end of the session, your body feels open and refreshed. You may even be a little sore the next day from the deep stretching. Once you learn the basic setups for a few postures, it’s easy to do restorative yoga at home. I would highly recommend
